about

The overarching theme for this EP is a tribute to Jean Michel Jarre, a legend of electronic music and a constant source of inspiration to me. Each study is based upon an abstract idea that evolved into a fully realised piece of music.
I elected to name each piece in French, mostly out of reverence for Mr. Jarre and also as a continuation of the tradition started by Pierre Schaeffer back in 1948 with his “Cinq études de bruits”.
